[18 Aug 2005|07:30pm] [ mood | melancholy ] [ music | Garbage "bleed like me" <3!!! ] So i leave on Monday for the Dominican Republic, but really more like on sunday because i need to leave at 4 am... which i just found out. I'm really excited to go on vacation and all that fun stuff but now i just realized how little time i have left with Mike and that really really sucks...I mean I'm sure vacation will still be fun but once i come home and reality sets in i knooow its gonna be awful. I cling to familiarity and any change or lack of something im used to really tosses me around. i just dont like it in general. (Partially the reason why i called Matt to see how he's doing... While i dont like him like "that" anymore, i dont just stop talking to someone i've known for so long. ) Distance sucks, and always have. I dont want my phone calls to start getting shorter. I dont want to miss my weekends full of cuddles and kisses. And most importantly i just dont want to lose him, and thats exactly what distance does. I think its almost worst than any temptations out there, or just amplifies those temptations. I hope that vacation can atleast be able to take my mind away from it and keep me occupied for a little while but my luck i'll just be down. We'll see... public post! wooo [19 Jun 2005|11:08pm] [ mood | ecstatic ] The horse show kicked ass! haha and i was all nervous and stupid and had my horse show mommy meghan there so help me out :-) She even got me PRINCESS pampers for my horse, its the coolest effin thing ever. In the warm up before the show, Gypsy was being such a monster to put it lightly. Basically she wasnt listening to me at all, wouldnt calm downa dn control herself... so when i took her to the line of two jumps she flew over the first and refused the second cause she was going too fast.. So we were all kinda nervous about how this show was gonna go, plus i had all the people i USED to be friendly with in pony club watching, waiting for me to fuck up. Anyways, before i was gonna go in Sandy and Lizzy showed up which was cool :-) I had my lil circle of support. I did the entire division for the 2 ft to 2'3 jumps, and it was 3 different courses for each division. So for the first one i needed to learn the course AND the jump off course in case i went clear through it all. Then learn another for the second part and second jump off and then 3rd... But i got it all! yayay. The first course Gypsy actually behaved reaaly well, for her first time ever. THe only problem was when we hit the double she went over the one adn was going to fast and the second came up quick, so she knocked a rail (4 faults) 4th place there. Then we went into the second course and were just flying over them and clearing all the jumps. Did the jump off perfectly... But there was a fuckin pony. And since this was judged on speed along with accuracy, where i would be landing after the jump, the pony would be able to turn already..WHich meant that their time was faster prolly by like 2 seconds... fuckers. haha Third course: We did fuckin amazing and i'll admit it hahah... yah we were just flying over each jump with nice strides and i sat back.. It was just perfecto. Andddd we go FIRST place. yahhh bitches. Reserve champion overall. Im a modern girl, but i fold in half so easily [14 Jun 2005|10:41pm] [ mood | anxious ] [ music | Rilo Kiley "pictures of success" ] Last night Gypsy was such a pain in the ass, i was ready to beat the shit out of her haha buuut i had some lil baseball girls watching, so even if i tapped her with the crop i'd look bad because it makes a loud slapping noise (i dont need to use it hard, the point of it is for the sound to make them go). Once she gets in her head that shes done working, she will not go forward AT all. I could smack the shit out of her and it will hardly effect her (mind you shes 12 hundred pounds, it cant hurt that much). I even did the spinning thing that everyone tells me, just keep spinning her ina circvle and soon she'll realize its easier to go forward than around and around...yah had no effect on her. So basically she was making me look like an idiot in front of people unable to get her forward so once they left it was war. I was so damn frustrated with her she had me near tears. So it was a fight, and i almost gave up, but got her going forward a little more (felt terrible for hitting her, i really like to be really nice when riding her, but you know what she has it sooo easy around her.) Even if i dont really like how Rauls horses are anymore, like no personality, at least they know better usually than to act up like she does... so i have to be semi harsh in order for her to realize that its unacceptable. All i need on saturday is for her to pull some bullshit move on me. Honestly, if she doesnt prove herself to be semi decent after 3 years of having her, i need to question a few things... So *crosses my fingers* i hope we do well, and kick all my old pony clubber peoples asses. Look what greg made me! haha it sums last night up very well i think. I <3 youu!
